Another amazing Halloween has come and gone, so while I'm recuperating from a crazy night of celebration, I'm adding a quick post on the Rolling Stone's "50 Best Goth Songs of All Time". I'd say they are really off on some of their rankings (I would have had Bowie, The Cult, and The Velvet Underground higher on the list), but... it is a starter if you're looking to gain a footing with the old school Goth sound.
